They went from a playoff type of emotion effort into Sundays game into a bland regular season game 2 days later.. I think it really did effect them because they seemed flat and lethargic in that 1st period.

Blues got their ass kicked by the Nordiques tonight, 5-0. And I believe the Child-Sex Predators lost as well. So, all things considered, this loss dosen't hurt as much as it could. Lets just hope we got it all out of our system.

I'm not sure who really didn't expect that last night. 3rd game in 4 days, just a complete emotional roller coaster. After recent events I think NO team needs a break away with their families more than the Hawks right now. If you watch the end of "Road to the Winter Classic" you will see just all the things Clint did. Some very meticulous for these guys. It's going to take some time to adjust for them. Hopefully they can over come the emotions. Saturday will be no easy task. Per NHL Rules teams are not allowed to fly on the 26th so the Hawks must fly out to Colorado on Saturday morning, for the game Saturday night.

Example, Colorado had to do this last year to Chicago, they got their ass handed to them 7-2.
