Who needs a quarterback when you can sign 30+ year old defenders?
He probably signs with GB instead. Unless the bears trade for Watson, why would he want to come here to waste away his last remaining years?
This is a gesture so Watt can go wherever he chooses. He would probably fetch a third or fourth in a trade. It really is amazing to see a legend and perhaps arguably a first time ballot HOF player like JJ Watt get released rather than traded. I know he's battled injuries and all that but its just weird. Players in this situation and time in their playing career will probably choose to retire but I wish him the best.
He takes on double teams. With Goldman, Hicks, Nichols, and Watt there would be a great rotation and freeing up Mack, Edward's, Quinn, and crew to clean up.
I don't think there is any doubt that J.J. Watt has definitely lost a step since being literally one of the best defenders to ever play the game. Still, I'd reckon he still has some decent football left in him and the list of guys who carry more respect than him in the entire league can be counted on one hand.LOL! So all those years he won DPOY he never took on a single double team????
Pretty good according to his wife! Ayoooo!!!How's his deep ball accuracy? lol
We weren’t a losing teamMy guess is he'll sign with a wining team
