So someone fell from the Georgia Viaduct (maybe 50-75 ft high). My son who was in Vancouver heard it might have been a Bruins fan. Wow! I hope it was just some idiot planking but if not, REDRUM?

Flat out embarrassing, hopefully the hockey gods take notice to the fans actions and this team and city never feel the thrill of a championship.

Not sure about if that person was a Bruins fan or not but they're definitely attacking one. Not going to directly post the image I found of the stabbed Bruins fan as I'm sure some might not like to see it but the link is below.

LOL with that end result from fans and this city it will be hard pressed to fine many of Webers qualities to want to play here. Canuck fans just made it very difficult for themselves once again.

No goalie will want to play here..lucky they can manipulate Schnieder but if i were his agent i would be "lets get you the **** out of this city right now". Will be interesting to see how the Lou shit pans out. Couldn't be more of a whipping boy than right now..and rightfully so.

I heard that the individual who fell off the viaduct was pushed. That's what I have heard but there is no facts to back that up. Either way it's sad as is the stabbing unless it was Canuck fan on Canuck fan hate. Yah I said it. I could care less if they blow each other up. Infact that would just prove more to the point that Canuck fans are idiotic.

Howcho...it sucks that your son has to see shit like this. I feel horrible for the parents out there who have to try and explain these things to their young children...yah i played that card.

Im at home now listening to shit heads kick in post office boxes and paper boxes. Funny.

It all comes down to one simple little word. For the Fans and the team......

KARMA!

B-B-B-B-BUT THEY HAVE THE BEST GOALIE IN THE LEAGUE... HE WON THE GOLD MEDAL LAST YEAR NO THANKS TO TOEWS! THEY HAVE THE MAGICAL GINGER TWINS WHO WERE -20! THEY HAVE THE BEST "MALE" ACTOR IN THE LEAGUE IN BURROWS! THEY ALSO HAVE THE GREATEST HITTER OF ALL TIME, RAFFI TORRES!!!

DON'T FORGET... THEY WON THE PRESIDENT'S TROPHY!!!!!!!11!!11

HAHAHAHA! 41 years of failure and counting... only ~60 more until they are more pathetic than the Cubs. Scratch that, after the display last night, they are already more pathetic than the Cubs.

Vancouver will never touch the Cup unless they visit it at the HHOF.

Pictures speak louder than words... I think after 1994, we were all expecting this, win or lose...

Either way, I don't know whether to be happy or disgusted by this. Happy because its hilarious to see karma take its course. Disgusted because these people who think they're human beings are destroying their beautiful city over a hockey game...

Sure its Game 7 of the SCF, but after the day is over, it still is just a hockey game. Its not like the players are out there rioting with the fans!

Yeah, I did not hear it from Claude directly. It was a recap.

No problem. I really liked the quote too, what he actually said was:

"Every game, all we talked about was going out there and earning it. It wasn't ours to have, it was ours to earn."

And I like what Thomas said about his performance last night:

"I was scared. I won't lie. I had nerves yesterday and today," he said.

"I faked it as well as I could, and I faked my way all the way to the Stanley Cup."

I have to say, I'm a little happier than I thought I would be with the Canucks losing. It's just... very pleasant. I hope their recent spell of going down in flames during the playoffs becomes a yearly tradition (it sort of already is, I guess).

It's kind of funny how the Stanley Cup finals mimicked the NBA finals. Nobody liked Miami, they lost. Nobody liked Vancouver and they lost too. And Luongo might be the LeBron of hockey; both exceptionally reliable chokers.

Once Burrowes, Lapierre and the Sedin Twins started diving, and taking embellishment penalties (4 of ‘em in the Cup Finals – must be a record, doubt if another team has ever had 3, much less 2 in a series), Burrowe’s bites Bergeron, Lapierre taunts Bergeron next game, Rome coldcocks Horton in game 3, Hockey fans outside of Vancouver had seen enough of this assortment of divers, whiners (from Gillis on down), cowards (think Burrowes pulling hair, biting, diving) and headhunters. But, more importantly, the refs had, too. When, early in the series, the Canucks began dropping like flies at the slightest touch, and tried and make the refs look silly, they lost all credibility. Heck, even Don Cherry mentioned how embarrassing, pathetic, Hank Sedin’s antics, better yet, shennanigans, were. Claud Julien’s remarks about Lapierre being traded 3 times because of his unlikeable persnality – I believe Julien pulled the switch the first time with the Habs – were also telling.

So, does anyone not think that having to play all those extra games, the Canucks only won 3 of 9 games in which they could have closed out a series – FYI, Vancouver, you need to close out 4 to win the Cup, something the Canucks still haven’t done, LOL - didn't do 'em in? The travel, the injuries, the emotional toil, the fatigue, etc.

Someday the Canuck & Senators will play for the Cup, and there'll be one less Canadian team that hasn't won a Cup.

....and someday, monkeys'll fly outta my butt.
