Very Nice! LMAO :buttrock:
well that and he's an asshole. In fact he often makes a decent point, but is just such a douchebag that you can't help but want to disagree with him.

Have to counter-balance your stupidity somehow.

That's bordering on statistically significant, I think.

And you're not exactly what people would call "smart" or "someone whom you go to for knowledge on basketball". :dunno:

Let's go 2 weeks of predicting games and see which one of us has the better record then.

You game?

Please, like that has more to do with "basketball knowledge" than it does "knowledge of the spread" or "luck". Give me a break, your buffoonery in the Melo/Noah threads is all the evidence sane people need to understand that you are completely skewed mentally.

No, I'm just not going to "challenge" you to a "battle" that may or may not (probably not) test our respective overall understanding of the game.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Nebraska Cornhuskers
  2. Villanova Wildcats
Picking winners =/= knowledge of the game.

I know a guy who wins every year in fantasy football, but he can't tell you shit about what is actually taking place in the game.

I don't think that there is a better way to measure someone's true basketball knowledge against another person's than to give each a set of at least a few dozen (of the same) games and see who picks the most winners.

Lefty, if you decide to un-tuck your tail from between your legs, we can both send our picks to Rush and we can see who comes up ahead over the next two weeks.

That is absurdly Special person logic.

How is that "Special person?"

o i c. afraid that your ideas won't help you when you actually trying to prove something tangible - that you can actually predict more games than I can.

It is an experiment. The games are the constant, and we're the variables.

But, by all means, puss out...

Rush has already agreed to be our intermediary. We would send our picks to him to avoid one of us posting first and the second poster to have an unfair advantage.

And then, after 2 weeks, or 3, or 4, (whichever you prefer) we will know who ends up on top.

The ball is in your court, Lefty.

What? Do you mean a game of 21 hasn't been the ultimate test?

How is that "Special person?"

1) Because you said it

2) There is no way to decipher what was the root cause of someone selecting the "winner" in a given game. None. It could be their knowledge of the overall game, their knowledge of the specific teams involved, their knowledge of the referees, or just plain old luck. Way too many variables are involved to definitively pin down picking or not picking winners as the have- or have-not of "basketball knowledge".

I can positively guarantee you that you don't...

afraid that your ideas won't help you when you actually trying to prove something tangible - that you can actually predict more games than I can.

No, I know that there is no way to determine what is actually the cause of someone picking a winner in a given game or even across a series of games.

It is an experiment. The games are the constant, and we're the variables.

The games are anything but constant. I mean, from a grandiose perspective, yes, they can be, but that "constant" is derived from an interplay of a huge number of other variables, many of which are unable to be comprehended and accounted for by the predictors (us), both in the context of the individual games themselves and the series of games being observed and predicted.

But, by all means, puss out...

Lefty, why do you watch sports at all if the results of the battles can never mean anything to you?

All I see is you pussing out... afraid of a little fun.

This is exactly the kind of Special person shit that routinely comes out of your mouth, or fingers, whatever. This is not at all what I said, you fucking moron, try again.

All I see is you pussing out... afraid of a little fun.

:obama:

Go away.
