The splashy play observation phenomena rears its ugly head again. Conte played well because he made 2-3 diving INTs. Fuller only played well when casual fans saw him creating turnovers, etc. etc.

The guy played pretty darn well for a much longer period than 2 games. I watch corners a lot and appreciate technique (back peddle, using the sideline as an extra defender, overall positioning, breaking quickly on routes, etc,), and the guy is very technically sound as a football player, has decent size and enough athleticism to excel and not just exist as a starting CB in this league. What the Bears need to do is get a larger corner or nickel to pair up with him and take on the bigger receivers bc he struggled when matched up with them later in the yr.
Sorry... But I''m not the "casual" fan.

I watched him lose receivers, let receivers get spacing, take the wrong leverage, and get bodied out a lot.

Maybe that was the result of an injury.

Maybe it was experienced receivers taking advantage of his greeness.

Maybe he didn't try as hard when the rest of the D kinda gave up on Tucker.

But, he didn't play well for the season as a whole. He just didn't.

And again, I think he has shown me enough to be optimistic. But, no one can say he had a good season.

While Ohio St lacks tact, he is right in this situation. Fuller played pretty well for a rookie especially when you consider how awful our front 7 were.

shea should be out of the door..keeping him just because he's played out of position is foolish..he has showed no promise at any position

I think jones has a really bright future ahead of him. He's going to shine at MLB in this new scheme.
