The only sure thing is that from today LeBron can put this dunk in his ass.

Ugh. Can we stop overrating every single player on this team? Big game for him but this guy should not be put up on a pedestal. He had 1 assist tonight. 1! Yes we won thanks to some big shots by him, but the PG is supposed to run the offense. You know who led us in assists? The guy everyone is dogging in a different thread. Carlos Boozer. Build up Pukus all you want. It still doesn't change the fact that he tends to be a chucker, dances with the ball alot, & misses open teammates all the time.

And I really don't give a shit. Permaban me if you want.

Who is overrating him? The guy has performed well in the role he was given. Especially considering that he was probably working at Domino's this time last year. Name me a better third string PG in the NBA.

Calling him a turd is utter disrespect for one of our own. Quit hating.

Cool out bro, its all good.
I don't think anyone is overrating the guy.
We are just enjoying the moment.
He may be everything you say, but tonight his offense against big defenders during clutch moments against the team we all hate the most was pretty dam impressive.
We have our very own Linsanity now.

Did I call him "The Turd"?

Look I'm not hating, I just don't like his game. He's horrible when trapped, over dribbles, & doesn't run the offense very well. And we have a better PG than him that we just signed. You can't seriously tell me with a straight face that Lucas is a more talented player than Mike James. I'm glad he came up big in a big game, but personally, I'd rather have James as the 3rd PG.

Oh & Mike James, btw, helped get us get 2 W's while not playing with a single player on the team before, or having full knowledge of the offensive playbook, or even playing in the NBA for nearly 3 years. As impressive as Lucas' offense was tonight, what James has done in the small amount of games he's played is more impressive to me.

Lucas has done a good job of proving him, if anything to the league.

For this team though, he must have done something right for Thibs to add him for the playoffs last year (no shit, he never played) and not even think twice about bringing him back for this season.

The dude has a chip on his shoulder and he is taking it out every chance he can. I will admit I never wanted the guy on the team originally because of how often he was cut or never used on previous teams. I stand corrected this season & will never have a problem admitting it.

I'm proud of JL3 and very happy with what he is doing for this Bulls team.

John Lucas the Turd.

:smug:

LOL at Rami: Name me a better third string PG in the NBA!

Oh wow! I have one.

Mike James.

:smug2:

Gotta love Rami constantly white knighting for Bulls players he feels that are disrespected.

JLIII is what he is. A marginal undersized PG who frankly is a bit of a manic on the floor. He plays like he has ADHD and if something goes bad he has a tendency to freak out.

Let's chill out a bit here. He had the hot hand last night, no denying that. He won us that game. But at the same time...he almost lost us that game with his play in the last few minutes by dribbling himself into traps. There were several instances where Boozer or someone else was wide open when the Heat went to trap him and he either didn't see them or didn't pass the ball. That forced us into bad shot after bad shot. You know something's amiss when you see Noah running to the top of the key to get the ball from Lucas.

He won the game vs the Heat.

That is all.

I might have been the originator of that nickname. For now I will keep it holstered. Lots of cred goes out to JL3. Able to hit big shots over LeBron, who according to some can guard everyone from Rose to Gasol to Howard. Fun game to watch.

...is a phrase that should be an automatic permaban if ever uttered again on this site. This guy has been HUGE all season for us when called upon.

:rolling::rolling::rolling:
I was lol'ing at Lucas last night, but he shut me up... I like Lucas in small bursts.

I feel ya, he gets trapped in the backcourt too much... for obvious reasons, lol.
