I don't know much more that can be expected from a third string point guard. All of them are marginal at best. The guy plays his heart out. He is not going to log important minutes in the playoffs, but he and James have won the team a few games this year. Not bad considering that he is the backup's backup.

What can be expected of him is to come in a manage the game by running the offense, not just come down and dribbling out the clock, or chucking up quick shots with no one in the hole to get the boards.
Is he good for some quick offense? Sure, but once he hits one shot, he just goes into chuck mode and tries to hit his next 20. He's a good Vinnie Johnson type of player, but if Rose and C.J. are out, then it's on him to get everyone involved, not just himself. I know he's auditioning for every team he plays against, but he needs to chill the **** out with that shit.

It totally baffles my mind the way some of you give JL3 such a hard time.
He's probably the very best 3rd string pointguard in the league and a capable starter an I fucking like the guy......He gives us quick points off the bench that we sorely need....So whoever is hating on him please just shut the **** up...thank you

He's had 3 big games all season & now he's a capable starter? :rofl: He did a great job of knocking down open jumpers tonight, but slow your roll.
People need to calm down with their Lucas :fap: as much people need to lay off the hating. I'll admit that I'm not a fan of his game. I've never been a fan of chuckers & that's what Lucas is. When the shots fall, it's great. When they don't, it can take you out of games.

I like the guy. Yea sometimes it can be hard to watch when he's jacking up shots and missing. Iv watched him dish off some nice passes before too. Seems like he's doing more better than more worse, he's got that going for him.

I always hated the guy. He dribbles the hell out of the ball with all this between the legs crap and takes too long to get into a set....plus he shoots too much. But that being said, I have to admit that he's done a pretty good job when he gets out there. His speed gets the opponent back its heels a bit. He's cost efficient for the team and in short bursts a usable NBA player but if they have to depend on his replacing Rose for any sizable length of time.....the turd will once again float to the top of the septic tank.
