Thank God you are the Bears GM........LMFAOI made a thread about this very thing. I could see giving up two second round picks or him and having him play behind Foles or take over for him.
Hes not playing behind Foles. Anyone who trades for Love is or at least should be looking at him to start day one.I made a thread about this very thing. I could see giving up two second round picks or him and having him play behind Foles or take over for him.
So why did they take one last year when they have one for the foreseeable future right in front of their eyes?Packers have a better eye for evaluating QB talent. trade for him. he'll cost less in draft picks huh
He’s not playing behind Rodgers either....he was the third stringerHes not playing behind Foles. Anyone who trades for Love is or at least should be looking at him to start day one.
Ummm what? Giving up 2 second recliners for Love? Even Pace is laughing at you.I made a thread about this very thing. I could see giving up two second round picks or him and having him play behind Foles or take over for him.
Him and Rodgers both have contracts signed until 2023......Who do you think will be resigned or extended? No QB should want to sit and learn for years. It’ll make them lose out on money. I think packers will end up trading him if Rodgers has another elite year

He has 104 million due the next 3 years. I think he’ll be around to collect.Rodgers will leave at any moment. he's not Tom Brady. he's not playing until he's 50.
Favre was the same age when Rodgers was drafted. for posterity.

For a third stringer?Two seconds?
No.
The 2022 second-round pick and the two compensatory 6th-rounders the Bears have this year.
For a third stringer?
He is a former first round pick who didn’t play in 1 game as Rodgers played in 16 and Tim Boyle, an UDFA played in 8 games.....very little I might add. So he is still a third stringer. I give a 5th at best.He is a former first-round pick, and they were sitting him deliberately. Rodgers was able to play all 16 games this year... so there is potential upside.
I'd probably make it more a conditional pick... but if pressed, I'd go one second-rounder to go with the two late-round picks.
