I will not be shocked if Aram is gone.

Ram's 2012 option is really expensive but I think he still may be the best option between FA and the farm. It'd be sweet if Vitters has a big year but still wouldn't feel that great about it next year. I say exercise Ram's option next year.

I wonder what Reyes would demand next year as a FA. Id think he'd come cheaper than his potential value because of the injury risk. I wouldn't mind seeing Reyes on the Cubs though. Barney has been good but his ceiling isn't all that high.

Do you mean by trade this season or the Cubs declining his option?

Declining his option. People want to talk about Pena's power this and Pena's power that but what about Rami's power?

Hasnt hit a homer in about a month. He played just over 200 games the last two years. I do think they may pick it up for the simple fact it will be cheaper than resigning him. They do that if they feel that Vitters will be ready post ASB-2012 or ST-2013. Otherwise they probable let him go and try to resign him.

Personally I dont see much chance he is on the team in 2013, and if he is its because we missed out on every 1B out there and Rami moves to 1B.

I don't think there is any chance he is with the Cubs in 2013. If they decline his option and try to resign him they risk him taking more money/years elsewhere.... which is fine by me.

This doesnt make sense to me at all. Why is Reyes being compared to Soriano?

Reyes' career high in HR is 19...

If Reyes would get pull happy why wouldn't every Cubs player ever?

This is an assumption.

The world is going to end on December 21 2012, when the Cubs have their World Series Championship Parade. :cubs:

I would like Reyes obviously for the right price. If the Cubs are going young as it seems to me they are doing, there is no real interest in him here.
