Ok we changed the brakes on our truck about two weeks ago and ever since then there is an occasional squeak. Well the past few days it has gotten a lot worse. Whenever I make left turns it squeaks really loud every time the axel/wheel rotates. HOW CAN I MAKE IT STOP IT'S DRIVING ME INSANEnot to mention its embarrassing
I'm not a mechanic but I've changed a lot of brakes in my time so take this for what it's worth.
If it's disc brakes and you didn't change the rotor it may be the brakes rubbing on the edge of the rotor. You can take them to Autozone or someplace like that and they can grind them down if there's enough material left on them.
Or it's possible the metal clip on the brake pad is bent and rubbing on the rotor.

Rotors were changed so when my dad gets home from work with the truck I'll take a look at the clips. Thanks

It has to be the whole back-to-school entry level mark-ups. CNM, perfect timing, because I'll swear, if you waited 3 more months, you would get a lot less.
Mind you, I sold cars 10 years ago. Trends don't change that quick, but in 10 years, you can forget a lot. /rusty
