Part of the problem with Collins is the play calling last night. First 3 plays were a run. For a gain of what 4 total yards? They didn't let him air it out until his second series.

When he did air it out, he throws sucked. Maybe because he's rusty but I don't see much improvement for him.

Collins>Juice
Juice is that bad, and just because you liked him college because he ran doesn't mean he'll have success in the NFL. He'd get absolutely destroyed.

When you say absolutely destroyed....do you mean more destroyed then Collins or Hanie? Or on the same level? Either way, our shit will be pushed in without Cutler.

I mean he'll get crushed like Cutler. As bad as Collins looked, Juice is much, much more worse.

I think they will do the same, but I give the edge to Williams because he's younger and 1 big hit won't injure him and like I keep mentions he's way more mobile.

Just because he's mobile doesn't mean he'll have success. He has no pocket presence at all and he's an horrendous passer. If you think he deserves any PT as a QB in the NFL you are a complete dumbass. What you also have to realize that is as bad as Collins looked, at least he has pocket presence, height, and he can read a defense. Backups in a Mike Martz offense also get very, very little practice time so he was rusty. If he were to get reps this week and start against the Panthers, he'd look improved and less like a train wreck IMO.

what?

Just because he's younger doesn't mean one hit cant knock him out lol. Mobile?? Cutler is considered a pretty good mobile quarterback out of the pocket as well. How did that work out for him? The offensive line won't protect Juice either.

Juice is horrible. No accuracey, throw power. There's a reason why he's not playing and hasn't played in the NFL.

I still think a team should give him a chance. He did have bright spots at IL. Collins is too old now and probably should retire, sadly. Let Hanie be number 2 as I think he deserves it.

Waldo...the point is Juice is not good. In fact, he's really...really... bad.

He doesn't have NFL talent. Collins may be old and on the brink of retirement but he's a better backup than Juice will ever be

I never said he was good beause he's not. But, I would take him over Collins. Then, move Hanie to the 2 spot and Juice to the 3rd spot. Collins could be good but I don't think he will be good in the Martz system

Better chance w/ the 4.9 Juice than the 13.8 Todd Collins w/ this line.

Juice has no pocket presence. He'd cause more sacks than he'd escape from...

Im glad he is getting a chance. Did a lot of nice things for the Illini and I think he deserves a shot.
Based on what??? Because he took a picture with you???

Great, he did things for the Illini - BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN SHIT FOR THE NFL!!!

Orange Krush (I cringed when I even typed that horseshit) colored glasses, FTL.

This is an awful idea.
