You said I'm a self proclaimed *** expert. Just show me where this proclamation was made.

So you admit to arguing for pages about the subject and not knowing what you are talking about. Least you can finally admit it. :)

It is kinda interesting that other than the saints job. 4 years seems to be his bench mark. I guess that's life a coordinator when you're tied to a NFL coach.

No one and done's or two and outs though which shows stability with whoever he was tied to at the time.

Yeah. Pretty rare that a new HC hangs on to old coordinators. And it can't be said that he didn't produce at his stops. And the SF situation was unique. Coaches weren't fired/let go because they weren't having success.

I'd like to see the Bears have in Fangio what the Packers have in Capers.

That would be nice. Dick LeBeau is another example of a long time hold over. Fangio coached under Capers during his HC stint. Kinda cool

Yep. I remember reading about that connection when he was first hired. Was Fangio only signed for 1 year? If so, they need to extend him ASAP.

Lol. That made me giggle.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Illinois Fighting Illini
J.Cutler needs 4 TD's to become the Chicago Bears all time leader for TD's by a QB which Sid Luckman has now.

Not another Cutler thread.

remind us what's jay's playoff & W-L record is vs the Pack

I think all the usual cunts have made their appearances in this thread. with that out of the way...

I don't really see why everyone's concerned about Gase or Fangio leaving. if team performance is the metric to go by, I would say Fangio should've been a HC like 4 times over just from what he had in SF. there's also been a lot of great coordinators that turned out to be abysmal **** as head coaches. we obviously will just have to wait it out and see what happens, I just think there's a lot more clarity with these guys compared to the dingleberries they had before.

Bob Babich was probably a pretty good LB coach. he was fucking terrible as a DC. Rod Marinelli piloted the only 0-16 team as a HC and he was awesome as the Bears DL coach and DC. maybe there's a possibility they're cool with being coordinators for the time being? or maybe they're not that big of fucking assholes to abandon ship after 1 year?

I'm a Spartan fan, but #teamnewblood just because it's more interesting.

windy flips scripts like jay turns the ball over... regularly.

he's probably got the most knowledgeable posts of the entire userbase. better than GatorlandMike's "inside sources".

I just decided to look up this stat, Jay Cutler is actually middle of the road for interceptions this year. with how much the chicken littles ***** about it you'd think he'd have twice as many INTs as Stafford at this point. the only compelling argument that the haters really have left is that he's playing a very minimal risk game.

as has been noted, the same people that ***** about interceptions are the people whining about the conservative play this year. you consider he's playing with a bunch of scrubs that really never should've even saw the field on offense this year, Gase is obviously going to have the gameplan dumbed down. it's the wise choice. it's not aesthetically pleasant for the statmongers, but he's not losing games.

Jimmy Clausen lost a game. last year? the defense lost games. Jay Cutler didn't win them, but he didn't lost them either.

I'm done with this shit. I'm going to sleep. carry on lads.

with a safe minimal risk O based around easy reads and high completion throws hes still managed to turn the ball over every game and his accuracy is still shit. lol

and I dont know why the hell anyone would want a QB under center that you are so afraid will turn the ball over that you have to scheme around it to the point of running a very limited offense.

people are acting like hes turned some corner, because hes made a few plays and won a couple games, as if weve never seen him make a play or win a game before.
