That sounds traumatic. Although, I could've swore that I told them I wanted to be knocked out regardless of the cost. But, in some odd way i'm glad they didn't. The part I was nervous about the most was actually being put under. Being heavily sedated didn't prevent pain, but it was very tolerable.

btw, alpha next level evolution: I have no wisdom teeth, just a couple calcium "deposits" that haven't really grown into any sort of tooth. Kinda spooky.

I was awake for mine. One was impacted quite a bit.
I promise you, you don't want to be awake while a man puts a chisel in your mouth, and has to brace your head with his knee as he hammers away on the thing to break it.
It didn't hurt, but fucking hell it was scary.

Had all four done at once, all of them were still impacted in my gums.
Lasted about 25 minutes, kind of reminded me of people gutting a stolen car for parts.

I have a chipped bottom tooth that needs pulled, but because of my insurance I have to go all the way to 2632 West Division Street if I want to get this done.
Fucking BS that I have to go to a war zone like neighborhood to get a fucking tooth pulled.

That sucks. Back in early 2000s I was dispatched to our NW Division office for a server down issue. It was in an old hospital converted to an office. It was fucking creepy shit. I nearly shit my pants when I kept hearing noises from the server room (around 12:30 AM) and ran into a cleaning lady coming around a corner. I think I may have screamed like a girl too.
