I think depending on who you get, taj is expendable. Imagine If mirotic is all that he's cracked up to be. Furthermore imagine, if we get a pf like k-love, Do we really need taj, mirotic/k-love, and noah? You could make the argument that k-love and mirotic are redundant, and taj is the better fit...but depending on whether he comes over, his CONTRACT, he might be a better fit, so taj would be out.
Obviously that's all conjecture, but it allows some interesting thoughts. If taj gets a deal done, is his rookie scale contract in effect during 2014? Is next year his RFA?
