Eww, thanks Klem... and I don't even really want to ask this but isn't that the bone Urlacher broke?

Not sure.

I'm not a doctor, but he should be able to play even with a screw in it.

I wasn't really asking you directly but really I was hesitant to ask at all because I don't want to add anything to the rumor whirlwind that is bound to follow.

Should'nt Deadspin be coming out with a story that the wrist problem is caused by Kanes drinking problem?
<

On Patrick Kane’s Injury - DeadSpin

Barry Petchesky — The Blackhawks announced that Kane will undergo surgery to repair a fractured wrist. We were inundated with requests to investigate, because PK is a favorite around these parts.

Has it come to this? The man, a professional athlete, has an injury that the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons specifically says "often happens during sports activities," and you all assume the worst? Shame on you all.

That said, if you have photographs of the sawdust-and-vomit-covered Northside dive bar floor that Kane undoubtedly fell on while simultaneously engaged in drunken fisticuffs and a threesome with two Loyola nursing students, you know where to send them.

Out 6-8 weeks?! SHIT, the team may not ever recover... there goes the playoffs....

Seriously though, this could end up being a blessing in disuse considering how busy he was last summer. He can still run and do a lot of cardio and different stuff. Sure it may take a hit to his strength training but there is still plenty he can do. And best of all he can relax a little this summer.

It looks like Kane has done his share of strength training already, which probably aggravated it. The injury shouldn't stop him from skating. Hopefully the surgery is successful and wont cause anymore trouble for Kane.

Eww, thanks Klem... and I don't even really want to ask this but isn't that the bone Urlacher broke?

Urlacher had a dislocation of the Lunate bone, which is extremely nasty, and (can) cause an incredible amount of damage not just to neighboring bones, but to the very intricate ligament structure.

You can see that if the Lunate dislocates, most all of the other bones will be displaced as well, causing radical damage to the other bones and ligaments. What Kane has, depending on the location/severity is relatively minor in comparison.

Very cool graphic and thanks for the explanation/clarification.

Well I'd trust someone like Rogers over someone like Jaeckel, at least Jesse has some serious connections to the organization. Sassone and Kuc didn't hear anything of it either.

Rogers can draw some odd conclusions and it seems he doesn't know too much about hockey.

Too bad the best one of them all was run out of town by McDonough: Josh Mora.

Sorry, but Rogers doesn't know shit. He lost all credibility with me when he said that Frolik was overpaid and a few other asinine tweets he has made. He's arrogant as well from some of his posts.

Nah, Tim Sassone IMO is the best Hawks beat reporter. He calls it like it is and is on top of shit info.

Sorry, Rogers has been bounced from one radio show to another. He hasn't a clue and I have stopped listening to anything he says since he post game show when he and Probie were interviewing Amonte after a game near the locker room and Amonte showed up in a towel. All Jesse could go on about is how good looking Tony was.

Probie even tried to get him off the subject.

I have listened to the score and every radio talent treated him like crap. The only reason Jesse got the job covering the hawks in the beginning was because no one else wanted the gig. And since that time....Jesse still doesn't know what a blueline is.

serious connections is that the organ"i"zation will say anything to get them out of the building.
