Glad to have a mouthpiece as a fellow fan, but that guy is freakin' nuts. Also in my 40 years, I've found that rap never ages well. Timeless "music" it is not.

bullshit

You just need to listen to better music. Top 40 shit rarely ages well.

Not like I am implying all of their music was great. But years fucking later I will still listen to NWA, Pac, Biggie, Ice Cube, NAS, Cypress Hill etc. etc.

The come at me wasnt truly directed at you. Its rare i get to say anything bad about pac or big without death stares. Ive just embraced the hate now lol.

Botfly you should check out these guys. Funk. Punk. Just cool in general.

Death
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_(protopunk_band)

Death is a Detroit rock band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1971 by brothers Bobby (bass, vocals), David (guitar), and Dannis (drums) Hackney. The trio started out as a funk band but switched to rock after seeing a concert by The Who.[2] Seeing Alice Cooper play was also an inspiration.[3] Music critic Peter Margasak retrospectively wrote that David "pushed the group in a hard-rock direction that presaged punk, and while this certainly didn’t help them find a following in the mid-70s, today it makes them look like visionaries."[3] They are seen in many groups as one of the first punk bands in the world.[4] The band broke up by 1977 but reformed in 2009 when the Drag City label released their 70s demos for the first time.[5]

I'm sure you're already a fan of De La Soul's THREE FEET HIGH AND RISING. Great album.

Love Kanye's music. I learned a long time ago to appreciate the art more than the artist. It's a lot like sports. If you get too caught up with your favorite players and artists, you'll often find yourself disappointed.

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is my favorite hip hop album. Kanye hasn’t been the same since.

You prefer My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy over Late Registration?

oh man... A Tribe Called Quest is one of my favorite groups ever. The Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders are definitely in my top 10 albums of all time

Kanye's been putting in a lot of work lately.

Ye(didn't really like that much)

Kids See Ghosts(with Kid cudi, I think it's his best work since MBDTF)

also produced for

NASIR(NAS's album, didn't really like this that much either, don't think Nas and Kanye in 2018 really gelled)

Daytona(Pusha T's album, very good,Pusha T's rapping+Kanye producing delivers)

I suppose admitting that I own two P.M. Dawn albums won't up my street cred either. I'll stick with indierock and Qawwali.
