My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
The only stretch I can find where the Hawks had to play without Keith for more than one game was near the end of the 2011-12 regular season, when Keith was out five games. I think this was his suspension for the elbow on Sedin, IIRC.

Hawks went 2-1-2, with three of those five games going to the shootout. Take from that what you will.
They played without Keith most of 2011 </sarcasm>

Relax, conehead. You can recover by posting another 13,000 times on an internet message board.

Conehead? Better, but I am going to continue to expect more out of you.

Heh. I remember that year. Was a bit worried that he wouldn't regain his 2010 form, as long as that slump went on. Glad those fears proved to be unfounded.

Let's go Hobgoblin!! Q is about where I am on it. The guy has shown a few things, let's see if he wants it. Top line!!! Something is telling me that is the group he meshes with best. Q with the shot across the bow too, he hasn't assured a spot here yet. But he has a opportunity. Any production out of that group and he could get a longer look. Toews needs to be the sharp shooter and start finishing for that group.

The other intriguing part of that article is the comment about Bickell. His last game was ordinary? Other than that he has been OK? Damn.

I hope your Hobgoblin optimism is rewarded. Hawks need someone to grab that top line LW spot.

I've always viewed the addition and slight play seen so far, pre-season included of Tik to that of Kopecky, so him playing opposite Hossa and filling in a role like that for a period of time wouldn't be a surprise to me.

It would be great if anybody could lock it down. My secret desire is to save Dano for TT's third line to give it some pop. Dano-TT-Garbutt would be exciting and I hope not too small. At least Dano and Garbutt are physical.
