It's no secret that RBs coming out of Oregon are elite... this has been the case for 10+ years now.

Now that DeMarco Murray is in Philly... do you think the Bears should trade for Barner as a PR specialist and goal line RB?

With Mathews being on the Eagles depth chart at #2 that kind of devalues Barner for Philly.

I doubt Langford is going to cut it for the Bears so trading for Barner makes a whole ton of sense.

Thoughts?

Barber is a beast. We really fucked up by not drafting Lockett in the second with d line in the first but could easily repair that move and the lies by minding the waiver wire. Nice post.

Yes, we should trade a high draft pick because our RB depth is poor and this is a running league.

Oregon running backs have really not been that great. Jonathan Stewart is up and down, Lagarett Blount is ok, Lamichael James and Barner haven't really done anything. Deanthony Thomas could be decent I guess.

Chip recruited small shifty RB at Oregon. Built for college not the NFL.

Blount is FANTASTIC when he's got a decent OL. How many times has he straight up HURDLED mofos since he been in the NFL? Dude is a boss. I think he'll have the kind of career that BEASTMODE has had when all is said and done.
