why would anyone give up assets knowing chargers are in cap hell and the decision is inevitable.

DO IT POLES!
I would not give up assets, but I would jump on it if he were released.

I'd sign Mack and Ngakoue and still draft one of these talented DEs in the first two rounds. Give them 2-4 year deals that are 2-year deals in practicality.

Throw bodies at the position to ensure we get pressure. Sign Dre'Mont Jones too so we have pressure up the middle. Boom, DL solved.
Agreed. I would not pass on a DE because of Mack. I just assume we’re not drafting two.

need a mixture of vets and rooks. Bears have a ton of money to spend. Their QB is still on his rookie deal. There are no big name wr's looking for big dollars. Someone(s) has to be paid. Why not Mack?

You think he'll come back to the Bears if CCS sends him a gift basket???

(Miss u boo!)
I'll gladly throw in my patented white chocolate frosted peanut butter brownies to sweetened the deal if it'll help (no pun intended). I would love for Mack to come back.

I think he would likely sign for cheap with the Bengals, Bills, or Chiefs.

Mack 2 year deal at reasonable price, incentive based, limit snap counts….hell I say do the same with Akiem Hicks. 2 vets who can help on the field at a part time level but also help a ton in the film room/developing and being a leader for these young players.

2 year front loaded deal, I'm all in. Have to use some of that cap money somewhere.

Mack on a 1-2 yr deal, Arden Key on a 2 yr, Dre’Mont Jones on a 3-4 yr deal, and then draft DL within the 1st 2 rounds.

spoilers: Mack isn't coming back to the Bears.

also weren't you the same exact collective that wanted him gone because he wasn't producing enough?

Both are good players. It’s very early in their careers and Brisker played with an abysmal pass rush. I wouldn’t rush judgement, it’s clear he can ball.
Don’t bother with him. Common sense isn't his strong suit.

I agree Brisker is good, but feel that Joseph is better

You’d have to specify the collective you’re referring to

I did think Mack declined and wasn’t worth the deal he was on…but he’s still a good player and I wouldn’t mind him on a 1-2 yr deal at a lower price. I also wouldn’t mind going in another direction. He’s certainly a solid option though
