Similar but slightly different. Not all of the probiotics survive the stomach so veggies may be a bit more effective in that regard. Gut bacteria feed on fiber so veggies will be more effective there too.

Well I bought a jar of it, but I am kinda scared to eat it!! LoL any suggestions? Just straight out of the jar or should I have something with it/cook it into something?

depends on how much you like the flavor... i would just start with rice.. if its too hot for you, mixing it with the rice will cut the heat some..
i made tacos last night and added kimchi as a topping. so its up to you really..
