Since Yzerman joined the Bolts in May 2010, the Hawks have two Cups.

Since Bowman, joined the Hawks in July 2009, the Bolts have ZERO cups.

Even if one argues that it was Dale Tallon's team that won the Cup in 2010, there was a major rebuild by Bowman after we lost 9 players from the 2010 Cup, and we won again in 2013. Unlucky bounce off of Leddy's back last year, and the Hawks are probably back-to-back defending champions.

Apparently, if the Hawks had Stevie Y, they'd have won even more Cups. ...dang!

There's a level of being a realistic fan, then one that waits for a team to lose and troll with dumb statements a la Jim C.

I have spoken to several Flyers fans who say he is a good pick up. So suck on that Capt Serious.

I still think its a very high risk pick up only because of his lack of playing time this season. His age doesnt concern me other than it perhaps effecting his ability to get into top form quicker. Yes he has ample time to hit the roster with 20 games left and learn the Hawks system which he should be able to do quickly as a vet. Just a risky move in my books. Gotta take em i suppose. Im always a bit hesitant when any new players walk into the system though thats just my paranoia fanship. At least gotta give the guy the chance to prove himself on the ice first before blowing up or even getting overly excited. Guys always been a good player and fans in philli have always loved him...not sure if that is a good sign or not though stupid ass flyer fans.

Stan B said they had been talking this for a long time, but there is one aspect of the trade not yet mentioned.

Because he is Finnish he gives a mentor example of a Finish national hero for Tuevo to look up to here down the homestretch, and potentially learn a thing or two about being a professional, as well as ease the language difficulty even further for Tuevo. They moved parts to bring a Finish youth in the minors to play with him, and while I don't think this was planned or a top 3 reason to make this move, it still makes it sweeter and even more of a perfect fit.

Its a slam dunk given Oduya, and since Kane is irreplaceable its easier to get some of those goals back by not letting so many in.

During the debacle of a game last night, they said both TVR and Oduya should be back next week. Knew about TVR but I thought Oduya was a ways out yet. Anyone see an update today?

Wasn't Timonen scheduled to be on the ice for Philly tonight? If so we'll see him Monday vs the Canes yes?

depends if he is packed and ready to wife hump.

I suspect he will be in the lineup. He is probably already practicing with the club or will be skating with them tomorrow.
