Eh, bad 1st period and a fine last 2. Should have put it away in OT, particularly on that Kane spin to Hossa. Good D stopped it.

Good goaltending from both sides. Stalberg getting two cracks at Quick and failing both times was disappointing.

Wasn't a terrible game.

Kings: 3-1-0 VS Blackhawks. If we go by "heads up" which EIB likes to bring up everytime he wants to argue his point, it would seem that the kings are better than the hawks by his logic. Looks like I just put that "heads up" shit to bed.

Conclusion: Heads up record VS Team X does NOT indicate whether the specific team is good or not, sample size, and should never be used to evaluate a team.

That heads up record confirms to me what I already knew from watching the games- the Hawks struggle against the Kings... mainly because John Quick is a beast. He's a big part of why their pk is so good and a bad Hawks pp mixed with a strong pk is a recipe for losses. The Kings are also a pretty large team, that even when not seriously throwing the body around, is still a difficult thing for this small Hawks team to overcome.

In four meetings vs LA, the Hawks scored a total of 4 goals vs Quick.

Maybe soon again, we'll have an established #1 not this circus shit in net.

you cant have it both ways. heads up is heads up. period, end of story. a useless crutch to obtain false hope.

Also, does 'wait for the whistle' ring a bell at the UC?

Jesus christ these two girls next to us kept getting up during the play.
