Nice to see the Hawks show up and win the 2nd game of a tough BTB.
Hard to believe they could have done this with Roszival on D and Shaw at center and some of Q's other bonehead coaching moves.

I was actually watching the game in a split screen no commentary and while not fuilly paying attention I did see the team taking hits and getting involved that way. To me I like that. Taking hits is just as important as dishing them out if not more important actually. Means the team is involved and taking a good hit or two can often wake a team up if they direct that in the right way. Nothing wrong with being hit some guys need it and this team is loaded with guys that need to take em to wake up sometimes. **** knows every contact sport I ever played my shitty level game raised up to a more respectable poop level after I took a few hits. Got me into the game. Gets the endorphines going..wakes you up. Sadly for me my coaches didnt give a shit and benched me anyways cause poop level may be better than shit level but its still a smelly level.

I have no idea how comparing the number of games as Apple's to oranges. If anything, it's harder in the Hawks who don't play a physical style but rely on puck possession, speed - take way more physical hits and put last these teams. They've had more Olympians and beat these "physical" teams that rely on putting 5 guys in the box, try to win 2-1. Don't skate just mug people.
So maybe it is apples to oranges where the Hawks actually skate, don't clutch/grab, and fight through the hacks in STL, LA, MIN in the playoffs
