Exactly..The Phoenix Suns lost in the playoffs every year under D'Antoni to a team that was defensive oriented (Usually the Spurs). He'll continue that with the New York Knicks. Its why I'm glad to hell he didnt end up here in 2008. It would have been fun to watch the regular season games, but we'd just get pissed off in the playoffs every year when other teams clamp down (Well..we kinda have that problem anyways for now).

tyson chandler is a good post defender..and amare actually isnt bad tho

The only guy who likes and does play defense on this team is Tyson Chandler, so until Carmelos head shrinks down to normal size and he stops jacking up so many shots, and they become a solid defensive team (amare doesn't play D either) then I'm not worried about them one bit

I don't see it. Amare and Melo are both ball stoppers and Tyson isn't quite enough defensively imo. i think they'll be top 4 in the east, but not really contenders
