Booker was the last in 2002.

Knox just had one of those games where he's a complete non-factor. He also had a couple of dropped passes I think too.

Ive been rooting for Knox since the beginning. But Knox dropped the opportunities he had yesterday. Does he suck? Nah, I think he was trying to hard with the thought of a 1000 yard season. And trying to force things usually ends up badly. Imo, he will be back to normal by the next game. Bennett was missed, thats no lie. Him and Cutler are an important 'Go To' combo that'll develop even more thanks to the college chemisty. But damn, wish Knox had his head in the game.

I think the whole Bears O was taking an easy. Knox wa sin and out of the game and look like he was trying his hardest. Same with Hester. That's why we saw a lot of Davis (Bennett, yes but still more than we would of thought) and Devin A.

I think its sad to see how far down the depth charts Aromashodu has fallen. Rashied Davis has moved ahead of him.

I don't know what he did. He had to piss off the coaching staff because he had one hell of a game to open the season. I think they needed to give him more of a chance but now it's too late.

If Sidney Rice hits UFA, go after him.

Him, Knox & Bennett...not bad.

It's really more about playing in the slot. Aromashodu was on set there week 1 but he was tentative over the middle and outwardly complained about it so he wasn't gonna get to play there. Bennett was out and Davis is the next slot guy so Davis got the time the past week weeks.

The Bears have to worry about their players first, before thinking of going after other players.

Knox looked like the game was too big for him yesterday. Hopefully the atmosphere was a good learning experience and hopefully a return to Chicago makes him more comfortable.

Sidney Rice's hair would clash with Devin's.

Knox was awful yesterday. Bennett is by far the best WR on the Bears and ive said it since last season. Im glad he has a couple weeks to get healthy.

As far as Sidney Rice goes, i wouldn't sign him unless its a favorable contract. The guy is an injury risk. I like what he brings to the table but i would rather have someone a bit tougher. It would be nice to get him and not have to worry about using a draft pick on a WR.

I'm a little surprised by what may of been the biggest factor in his bad day not being mentioned so far in this thread. Yes maybe there was a lack of all out effort or he was hurt by no other quality options down-field.

That factor I mean being Tramon Williams. Who has had a great year and deserves to be in the popularity contest game over DeAngelo Hall who is in because of 1 game against Jay Cutler. Williams was on Knox and taking him out and being tight on him on some of those close plays Knox failed to capitalize on. Great playing corner vs average playing WR is not a good matchup.

That catch he did make over Antonio Cromartie was brilliant though, if he works on the routes and hand catches better he can make that good leap into a pretty great target in his 3rd season.

No doubt Clyde. It was a problem all day yesterday. The Bears receivers were not able to get off the line and that matched with their ability to get to Cutler was a recipe for a bad day on the offensive side of the ball.

I'm a fan of his as well, but one thing he will need to work on to become breat is playing the ball when it's poorly thrown, even if he isn't going to make the catch (as someone pointed out yesterday) AND he'll need to make a better effort to come back towards the ball and fight for the catch, it'll help both himself and Cutler.

Definitely. Hes not a dominant force by any means and needs work. But I believe he has the talent to overcome his faults and become a good wr for us.

I think Davis stepped up big for us yesterday. 7 Catches with 10 targets.
