If anyone can be compared to Jordan and who's name can be used in the same sentence, its Kobe, NOT LEBRON.
MJ better cross his fingers, because Kobe is possibly on the way to filling more fingers with jewelry than him.

Kobe has admitted that he has copied many Jordan moves. It's not something unusual. When you see some good moves you SHOULD copy the moves to become better. This year he did Dirk's move twice in a game and made fun with the reporters that he does it better than Dirk. I am fine with Kobe copying Jordan's moves. It's not like anybody can copy them. It demands skills. But the tongue thing was just disgusting.

Kobe IS the best basketball player since MJ. Bron is working his way up the latter, but as stats, numbers, play style and hardware are concerned Kobe is definitely the closest player to be like Mike. Nobody will ever pass Jordan as the G.O.A.T. and the complete player package he was. But Kobe does deserve the comparisons. Not anyone can copy Mike and make it work. Believe me, I've tried.

Well, a vast majority of people on this thread agree that Kobe is comparable to Jordan...good. Glad to see that happen. By the way, it doesn't make you any less of a Bulls fan to think that in my opinion.

Find it interesting though that according to certain people, Kobe isn't in Jordan's league...but Rose's MVP season (according to said poster) WAS BETTER THAN ANY OF JORDAN'S SEASONS IN THE 1990'S! So is Rose in Jordan's league and Kobe isn't???

Kobe dam near is.......if sombody told me Kobe was a Jordan clone, id be almost convinced.
I watched Jordan his whole career and Kobe as well......you will never find a player so similar to Jordan than Kobe.
Kobe even talks like him...........I'm not sayin Kobe is better than Jordan, but I am saying Kobe is about as close to Jordan as you can get in comparrison.
And for those who complain about players copying moves, you shouldn't watch basketball because everyone does that.
Jordan even copyed a few Dr.J moves.....who hasn't? :dunno:

You could take Loy Vaught highlights and do the same thing with Loy Vaught making a ton of 16 footers with one dunk thrown in. Doesn't mean he's just as good as Jordan.

I was waiting for them to show Kobe's Lakers getting eliminated from the Finals against Boston by 39 POINTS and then show it happening to the Bulls back in the day but then a funny thing happened. I remembered...that never actually happened to Jordan.

I was waiting for them to show how Jordan ALWAYS celebrated at the end of the NBA Finals and then show Kobe doing the same thing but then remembered...oh wait, Kobe LOST in 2 Finals'. Teams he led suffered 2 defeats in the NBA Finals (not to mention got swept against Dallas two years ago...oh but no one remembers that huh?).

And not to be picky but I don't think Kobe could have replicated THIS move even in his dreams.
