The actual story I read was that KB turned down a contract offer WELL NORTH of 200 million.

It actually is.

Kap was spinning the old story about Boras/Bryant rejecting any talks of an extension as a new, recent rejection of a concrete offer from the Cubs. It's BS.

I am now reminded of the time Kaplan spent an entire offseason swearing that "his guy" told him that Girardi to the Cubs was a done deal.
