We could have one helluva farm system by the time all this is done.

Hate to see Steeger go, but I'd convinced myself he was gone a few days after they won the Cup. Buff too. Made the news a little less surprising.

If nothing else, we cut down on at least 35% of our stick-handle into the zone and turn the puck over moments on the ice.

Just like Buff, Steeg will be replaceable. Hopefully these prospects pan out.

I just hope this is the end of it, but I worry it's not.

Not surprising.

To me its giving up Versteeg to keep Ladd. And for the money Ladd is more valuable.

Piling up prospects is a good thing for the future. Im not worried at all.

I sure hope so. I'd convinced myself our entire 4th line, 3rd D pairing, Buff and Versteeg were gone, and that'd be enough to get us under the cap (Huet as well, but who cares about that guy?)

Bolly isn't going anywhere, he was mainly 3rd line, and may be the only one remaining.

I want Soupy moved, it won't happen because he is untradable with his contract. Think about it this way, Campbell makes more than Seabrook, Keith, Toews, Kane, Hossa, Nash, Datsyuk, Backstrom, Staal, and Kopitar... just for example.

Yeah we should have kept Versteeg, you know because the whole point in trading him was to shed his 3+ million dollar salary from the cap. You post like the Blackhawks and Stan Bowman just traded players for the hell of it and you completely ignore the salary cap when you make asinine statements.
