Nothing beats waiting an hour for an overpriced, over-hyped burger, while listening to heavy metal at a volume that allows you to have a conversation.

We walked right in and sat at the bar, no wait. Gus!, if you have something to add to the convo by all means of tell. What is your fav burger?

Au Cheval, DMK, 7 Lions in no particular order. Have not tried but will make it a point to get to Kumas Corner. Have seen and know big fans of David Burke's Primehouse.

Au Cheval has a wait too, Haymarket is across the street, put your name in at AC and go over to Haymarket for a beer while you wait.

Been to Haymarket a few times with my group of friends and seen the long waits at Au Cheval. Been wanting to go there, next time we plan to do just what you suggest.

We have gotten in Au Cheval without a wait by showing up right when they open. I like your idea for dinner.

The best burger in the area is at Nick's Tavern in Lemont.

Gus! Sometimes I think you're a toad,

But this I have to agree with you on. Was just at nicks 2 weeks ago for a burger and went on over to Pollyama for a few beers.

Been to small cheval and although really good, wasn't impressed for the out of door wait.

Hear those lines at Au cheval are insane

I'd throw the Blanchard's cheeseburger into the argument. House ground beef, Buttercase cheese, thick bacon, garlic-aioli and excellent fries. Expensive but top quality.
