No thanks. The team was a mess before Purdy came in to save the day. Then adding CMC sealed the deal for Shanahan. He needs exactly the right players to work in that system. He almost lost his job two/three years ago overusing Deebo at every single position. Thats not what a good coach does in my opinion.

John Lynch will not fire Kyle. They are too connected with Lynch's time in Denver with Mike. Ain't happening.

Did this rumor come from the same street as the other rumor in the other thread?

The Niners have been putting together deep playoff runs for too many consecutive years and the wear and tear of that just caught up to them. Their core that carried them is just old and banged up all the time. Look at their injury report, its really quite an accomplishment and testament to how good Brock Purdy is and how well coached they are in general that they are managing to stay at .500.

They might have had the best draft of any team in 2024. Pearsall, Green and Puni are all studs…so they’re already restocking and rearming.

I'm not going to overthink a young HC with multiple SB appearances. I don't care what nitpicky negatives people have to bring up.

I just want it on the record that I would offer every single poster on CCS as a blood sacrifice if it brought him here.

(Nothing personal…. Just business)
Finally, I benefit from replacing my blood with motor oil.

See the rest of yous next time around I guess

Successful coaches have been fired before. It's not new for the NFL. No rumors, just entertaining the possibility since the 49ers are underperforming.

Shanny brought Lynch to San Fran sobhis firing likely has to come from above Lynch.

Even Bill belicheck was fired from the browns and became a legend with the Pats. Same with Pete Carroll. He was fired from the Jets and Pats and won with Seahawks. Even coaches learn and improve.

I don't mind Shanahan. I don't think Purdy is that good. He is above average, but not elite. Just in a loaded offense with a great O-line. Now the weapons are hurt and O-line is not that good, you see what Purdy is.

This is at least stupid post of the day, if not year.
