Wow so I went to Amazon today and they will give me 37.75 for the game.

So basically I paid 2.25 to have it for a few weeks.

Maybe I really should try and play it more.

I thought the game was "ok"...

Graphically awesome... Story is awesome... But after I realized that the game is on a track that's impossible to get off no matter how bad you **** up an investigation, I got bored.

It really ground my gears after one case where the chief chews me out and talks about how I won't be getting a "real" case for a while only to start the next case right where I would've left off no matter how I finished the last one. Weak...

This lead me to start cheating during the arson desk and using walkthroughs for the interrogations, since hearing the dialogue during a "correct" interrogation is infinitely more interesting than when you **** it up. And since it DOESN'T MATTER EITHER WAY(!!!), I didn't feel the least bit bad about it.

The game ended up being about a 'B' for me...

Rockstar Games: L.A. Noire Sequel A Possiblity - GameBlurb

I'm incredibly surprised by this. LA Noire lost so much money because they spent more making the game than what they got from sales, which is surprising because it sold well. Also the ending was incredibly terrible, I really don't see the point of having a sequel. I hope it isn't a direct sequel to LA Noire, but rather just another cop/investigation game.

Absolutely. RDR is a much much better game.

LA Noire is fun for finding clues and questioning people, but all the action elements of it are incredibly boring.

LA Noire I agree could have had better action, but the thrill of searching for clues and stuff made up for it imo

Doesn't really deserve to have a direct sequel though, but like I said, another game with the same style would be welcome. It was very fun up until the Arson desk, then it just felt like they rushed to finish the game and sell it.

I suppose they could center a game around Kelso and him trying to take down all those guys in the department that were in on it.
