Found this interesting. Think this explains Trubisky's shit year so far. He needs a clean pocket otherwise he can't do anything worthwhile. Certainly not ideal having your 'franchise' QB not able to operate without a clean pocket, but he could still turn his season around to average if the OL can sort out it's issues. Hopefully the Long move was addition by subtraction and Coward can help clean it up.

He's played in three games. One he played terrible. The other they ran the entire game. The last one he played well. This chart doesn't represent a large enough sample size to mean anything for him at this point.
Yeah, I get that, but you can still evaluate what he has looked like. He sucks under pressure.

He was 3rd last year. This is one of the worst post's of the year given the sample size.

So this says the exact opposite. My take: Mitch is about to combine his powers and become unstoppable!!!

2018, he was 3rd best in DVOA. 2019, he has struggled in 3 games. Please let me know how you came to this conclusion.

Based on what I and everyone else has seen this year so far. Okay, it's only been 3 games, but it's stupid to just bury you head in the sand and ignore how piss poor he's performed under pressure in 2019 because of what he did in 2018. Is he regressing? That would be pretty concerning considering he doesn't have much to regress from.

I'm giving him somewhat of a pass on this because it doesn't help when you basically are sacked by your own RG & LT every play. Biggest difference I've seen from last year so far is the lack of movement by Mitch, which, again, could be attributed by having his RG and LT in the way every single play.

Football outsiders is based on 2108. The Op has no mention of when the data was collected, as to whether or not some of the data is from 2018, and the rest 2019.

Yes he is worse this season, he has regressed, his numbers are all down. Do these facts confuse anyone?

Trust me, its a large enough sample size for all the QB guru's on CCS to know mitch is a bust and act like the progress in 2018 never happened.
