My favorite teams
I still prefer an NBA team over an MLB team if it's one or the other for Vegas but the A's handling of this stadium has been so bad that they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory by being so greedy with public tax money. That's one reason I'm excited for the NBA team, they're already in the process of planning stages of building a $3 billion arena/hotel/casino resort and $0 public dollars. I imagine when it comes time for infrastructure work, that'll be when the city and state steps in to finalize it.
Meanwhile, the A's came demanding $500 million in public money for a franchise drawing less than $10k fans a night in their current location that eventually was whittled down to $380 million approximately over 30 years. They left minimal room for compromise and don't even have a serious rendering of what this alleged $1.3 billion stadium is even going to look like. Their only objective appears to be public money first which is terrible negotiating.
