So in case that there will be no Boozer trade, what I expect, there is only one spot left in the 12 player roster you are allowed to use in games.

01) (PG): Rose
02) (SG): Salmons
03) (SF): Deng
04) (PF): Thomas
05) (C): Noah
06) (PG): Hinrich
07) (SG): Pargo
08) (SF): Johnson
09) (PF): Gibson
10) (C): Miller

11): Hunter
12): (Gray, Roberson, Nelson, Augustine, Johnson III, James)

Whom would you pick for the last spot and why?

I think a guy who could really help the Bulls and a guy I would go after in a heartbeat if I ran the team would be Al Thoronton.

Can you imagine a scenario where we would give up Tyrus and Pargo for Al Thornton!? Wouldn't that be one heckuva trade?

From that list, I think Gray can provide the most unique skill: his big body can be used on D against Dwight, Shaq & Co to - at least - take some of the starters' fouls, and he even can be used as a post-up-threat in spurts, which no other current Bull does well.

I believe there is a 13 man minimum.

I would have:

1 - Derrick Rose
2 - Kirk Hinrich
3 - Luol Deng
4 - John Salmons
5 - Tyrus Thomas
6 - Joakim Noah
7 - Brad Miller
8 - James Johnson
9 - Taj Gibson
10 - Lindsey Hunter
11 - Jannero Pargo
12 - Aaron Gray
13 - Anthony Roberson
14 - Demarcus Nelson
15 - Linton Johnson III

Although Roberson's out now, even though he looked great the last three summer league games. I think the Bulls internally chose Nelson over Roberson, which I think is stupid, because the goods Roberson in summer league are translateable over to the NBA, while Nelson won't be able to drive like that against legitimate shotblockers.

As far as I know you are allowed to have 15 players on your roster but you are only allowed to take 12 players to games.

I think it will be a decision between Gray and Nelson. Nelson played better than Augustine in summer league.

I would pick Nelson as the 12th player and Gray as the 13th because with Johnson and Gibson we have two new players who both are frontcourt players. So I would rather take a guard.

If a frontcourt player gets injured I would switch Nelson and Gray.

I can´t see Johnson III and James even have a chance for that last spot.

So in my eyes:

12) Nelson
13) Gray
14) Augustine
15)Johnson III

That means there is no place for Jerome James on the roster.

Nelson has potential too. Not something any of those other guys have. He is a prospect. Not a bunch I know but does it factor? I think it does.

He's Eddie Basden 2.0. He's not a prospect, he's a scrub.

They gave him a 2 year deal and never used him in those two years and i never new why. Seems like they could use him with Bowen gone.

i think he's a free agent. he signed a one year contract with the 6'ers. he isn't listed on their active roster. they have kapano, i dont think they'll need him. he played really well in the playoffs. he hit back to back threes. However, he is pretty old. he might have retired.
