I have been hearing a lot of blame going around aimed at Thibbs.
He has been nothing but loyal and dedicated this team.
Most of the Bulls succes I credit to the coach.

It makes me sad to hear people blame coach Thibbs for Rose's injury.
Rose could of got hurt at any point in any game.
If he didn't get hurt in the last minute of yesturdays game, he might of got hurt in the 1st minute of the next game.

It was somthing that was going to eventually happen no matter what decisions Thibbs made.
Its not his fucking fault.

Thibbs is just as hurt and frusturated about this as anyone, maybe more.....
Coach Thibbs is the best coach in the league and he is dedicated and genuinly care about his guys.......period......

If there is anybody to blame for, it´s Stern, Hunter and Fisher!

Thibs did everything right!

Philly cut the lead from 20 to 12 very fast and they had momentum. No problem having the starting lineup out there!

I thought there should have been more time before playoffs to start. 1 day, then game was dumb.

But yeah, leave Thibs alone. I would have done the same thing. He's a great coach and I expect him to be ready, with his team for game 2.

I would never blame a coach for their player getting injured because no coach would try to hurt their own player.

Intially I was angry at Thibs for keeping Rose out there. I will be honest though, I stopped watching the game with 3:23 left to go take a shower because I knew this game was one. When I came out, my brother-in-law was snickering at me because Rose got injured. Then I saw the explosion here and on twitter and though awww ****. Then I was blaming Thibs for keeping him in whe nI had been saying at the 5 minute mark to take out the starters with a 20 point lead.

Also, its a playoff game and Philly had cut it to 12..would they have likely won? No. But they were making it close so the starters stay out there. If the Bulls make a few more shots from the 5 minute mark on ..they likely do take the starters out with 3 or so minutes left. Oh well is all we can say now.

Even with a 20 point lead there was no guarantee that Rose would be taken out as Thibs has said he wanted himn to gain back experience in closing minutes of games. Either way it sucks that it happened, but it could have happened at any point in the game, it just happened to happen at the end of the game.

As has been pointed out to me before, I foresaw something like this coming. He suffered a new injury at every which way point, to me it was only a matter of time before it became season ending. Perhaps its best it happened in game 1 so the team can adjust.

Why do you have to put the Bulls won't win the championship this year Mr. Negative? I know you're probably right they won't win it all now that Rose is out but you don't have to put it as your signature.

If we still have a chance to win it all without Rose it is because of Thibs. With another coach this team WITH ROSE would probably be an above average team in the league and nothing more.

i blame our medical staff. It seems they tried to rush things just to make DRose feel Ok but in reality he isn't.

We are lucky our players are not pussies like many of you here. I know that they will give everything they have and they will play even tougher now that their leader is out.

Many of you believe that the Bulls is DRose. No. DRose just made this team an elite team. Without Rose this team is still one of the hardest to beat teams in the league. And the reason is because all of our players are fighters. They will die in the court to prove you all wrong and you will see it. Without Rose this team would be #2 in the East easily. I know that it will be tough and our chances are not the same now but we can do it.

A team that can do this w/o it's best player and it's starting SG can beat everybody w/o their best player.

Yes it will be playoffs blah blah blah. I don't say it will be easy or that it is very possible to happen. But we still have our chances.

For me this team will be the same team like the team with Rose with the only great difference that we won't have a closer. BIG difference for the playoffs BUT still a very good team.

We will score 5ppg less without him too but this is something that can be fixed if other players like Rip for example step up a bit.

The Med staff didn't rush anything. Non-contact injuries are freak accidents. Hell you can tear your ACL just getting out of a cab. A co-worker of mine tore his because his dog's leash wrapped around his leg and thanked him off his feet. Injuries just happen. It sucks but no one deserves blame on this, not Thibs for keeping starters on the floor, not Rose for continuing to attack w/ only a minute left, not the medical staff, and not even Stern.

Best coach in the league. I feel fortunate as a fan to have him in Chicago.

I feel bad for Thibs. Not only has he lost a lot of fan support, but imagine how it's going to be with jerry reinsdorf..

You are delusional, and lol at you calling people pussies for thinking that an NBA team cannot win against elite teams without their best player...and the second best player playing with one arm...unbelievable.
