I mean other than the fact they are close enough together to force you to perhaps interact with neighbors, grrr.

Look at the condition of the average house in Chicago........it's not good. You see it in the deteriorating garages, roofs, streets, houses with bars on the windows. Obviously, there are some good neighborhoods but even then the style is tired and usually 100+ years old
