If they do the trade for Vince Carter, that would be funny, Carter will have been involved in two ridiculously one sided trades for an all star, once as the all star and once as the scrub.

I have to give major props to the Bulls organization. I hated the fact that we let Gordon go and didn't dump Kirk in order to sign him. Especially at that 5/49 deal. But right now they have made me completely eat my words. They took a huge risk and it has fell into place. Props to them, it took balls to go all in like they have. I take back a lot of the bad things I said, cause they really planned ahead and got themseleves into this situation. This Hinrich trade and the Noc/Gooden dumps look god like right now. Even getting that Bobcats pick for Tyrus is looking might great right now too.

Even if we don't get James, I will still give credit to the Bulls. They got us in the situation to be the favorite to get him, what more can you ask? The Bulls have made the moves now its up to Lebron.[/quote]

This can't be said enough. When he first decided to create cap 2 years ago, when we had none, we looked insane. So many things fell into place. I mean who knew at the time Derrick was what he was, and NOAH!!??! I mean who the hell saw that!?!?!? Then the trades they made last spring to clear enough cap for 1 and todays trade, so they can get 2!?!? They knew they had the team, but didnt have the cap for 2 and went out and got it. SLAM DUNK!!!

And apparently Chris Paul to the Magic is pretty much a done deal too. The Hornets are just looking for a third team to get involved to dump Okafor on.

How is this a done deal if they are still searching for a third team?

If you're the high priest of the church St Ben of UCon, I lay claim to being the Mad Monk of the Frizzy Frenchman. Been saying all along we got one of the steals of the decade when Noah fell to 9.

And I really don't see why people are only now giving credit to management, from the moment the FAs signed those deals and management realised that they had lucked into having Ben Wallace as an expiring at the same time they've been on the 2010 plan.

yeah, i was always a huge noah fan. i even liked his rookie year. i was surprised that people wanted to trade him after his rookie year. His sophomore year was a disappointment largely for misuse. During the playoff's he took a leap forward, and this year he become the second best center in the eastern conference. (it's not saying that much, but hey, it's something).
