I would make the trade if it was for Boozer and Noah...but not Deng.
I would keep Deng, Start Gibson to replace Boozer and we still have a filled lineup except for 2 guard which we wouldn't need as much because We will have Dwight and Dengs 18 a game to ease Rose's pressures...
Deng
Gibson
Howard
Brewer
Rose.
Not too shabby.

Deng is the best all around player of the 3. If Howard comes to Chicago, Deng will be on his way to Orlando. Either Deng, of 3 future 1st rounders.

If Deng goes, and we keep BOOZER, then who will be our small forward?
Then we will have a guard hole AND a forward hole.....unless Brewer or korver or the other Butle can step up...Or Taj could play small forward.

Rose
Brewer?Korver?bogans?
Howard
Boozer
Brewer or Korver oR TAJ????

They use the MLE on Butler, so it'll look like this:

Rose
Bogans
Butler
Boozer
Howard

Imho they don't take Noah. They take deng boozer and asik. Noah is a def first center with a very unreliable offensive game so far. Asik's defense is right there with Noah for a fraction of the cost. And orlando likes offense. So if we land howard im guessing the trade will be deng boozer asik and 2you firsts for howard and arenas/hedo ..

If you think deng is off the table or should nbe than your crazy

While i dont agree with them not taking Noah and taking Boozer, us having Noah after the trade would leave us in good position to make another trade. Plus we would still have Taj so we'd have a dirty ass defenensive front court.

Yeah, I guess in that circumstance I'd be pretty interested to see what trading Noah would get us. Hopefully a SG & maybe a decent big.

I'll stop thinking about that since Howard wont come here because he is only worried about weather at his new destination rather than contending for a title.

I don't see him going to either LA team either...same with ny or nj...I don't think they have the prices to make the trades. I think he prefers the lakers but he wont win their either.

I hate to be that somber voice, but — I’m not saying it won’t happen, but I have never heard Dwight Howard’s name once,” K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune told The Mully and Hanley Show on Tuesday. “I don’t get the sense that anything is in the works. … It’s more just that this makes sense. As far as any talks or reality, that has no progressed at this point.”

This is the most realistic thing if we were to make this trade.

we would need to give up Deng and Noah, no doubt. I would not be surprised if they also wanted a Gibson....i would do this..

PG-Rose?Watson
SG-Bogans/Brewer/Korver
SF-Butler/korver
PF-Boozer/Asik
C-Howard/Asik

Your probably right.....When has Pax ever made a blockbuster trade?....Never and if history truely does repeat itself then PaxGar will drag there feet like always...

Maybe improving our roster isn't the first step in getting a championship team..
Maybe the first step is FIRING PAX and GAR and hiring a less lame more creative general manager......

I Know I'm right..

Paxson has done a solid job of getting talented good chemistry guys. There wasn't too many busts he drafted. But I agree if there is a chance to get the most dominant center in the league who is only 26 you do it. Heck he was smart enough to take rose when we had hinrich and gordon. Instead of beasly who was a scoring forward that we actually needed.

Butler is going to the Clippers for more than the MLE IMO makes to much sense for it not to happen.

I will never give Paxson credit for the Bulls getting Rose.
It was a 1 in a million chance that the Bulls got #1 that year in the draft.
It was a no_brainer that Pax picked Rose, even a Special person person would of chose him if he got #1 pick....duuuuuuuuuuuuuhhh!!!!

Pax didn't give us Rose, GOD DID!!!!!!

Choosing Hinrich over Gordon proves Pax's creative flaws.

He chose not to overpay gordon. Which I give him credit for. He offered him a long term deal. Don't remember what it was though. And yes we lucked out getting the first pick. But no one knew how good rose was going to be. A lot of mock drafts had is taking beasley . So saying it was a slam dunk pick is not true.

To be fair I remember a lot of Chicago fans on the fence having a difficult time choosing between Rose and Beasley, so saying it was 100% certain we we're getting Rose isn't entirely true.
