They did hang around with the Reds prior to the cupcake series. Just didn't win. Stupid mistakes, the usual crap.

You know what boggles my mind about Cubs fans is how they complain about Soriano being streaky. I mean he has been like that his whole career. They act like its a new thing every year. When Soriano is hot, he can carry a team. I wish some people would have a memory longer than 5 minutes.

I agree with that. Last year he was consistent after he dropped a few Oz. off of his bat. Still I'll take his over all production for the year over any platoon production going on.
