That's exactly what the article states. No need to come in here and parrot the author.
THE Article states exactly what bears fans said last preseason enroute to another NFCN last place finish, different year same story

How mad are you as a fan of the Lions right now? You seem so angry these days.
you only have 10 games to make up, good luck with that shit, definately going to have to save this thread, so you morons can't deny having preached it next year

It's all going to come down to whether Poles (and in as much as Ben Johnson's influence on personnel) has improved and learned from previous lessons. Poles has struggled mightily in choosing the right free agents to bring in. Going back to the the attempted Larry Ogunjobi signing that was scuttled with medical concerns, the linebacker double down with Edmunds and Edwards while seeing Roquan out, the worst was probably Claypool but then the Oline attempts with Bates, Patrick, etc. I do think Poles took more sure things this year and 2025 may go down as the year the Bears front office finally does the obvious things in front of their face (sign the obvious leading HC candidate in BJ, pick up some obvious upgrades with hopefully some upside for the IOL, etc.) but most of these pieces have to play out well. If that happens, the rest of the NFC North should at least be paying attention as the Bears have made the most obvious steps at improvements amongst the division.

LMAO, the Bears will be the most improved by virtue of being the absolute worst in the North last year.
Big whoopity shit.

congrats on you spending a ton of cap space for another 4th place divisional finish

We shall see, Hyatt. Bears have the benefit of a better Offensive system and better coaching on both sides of the ball and a favorable SoS. Vikes appear to have no plan outside of JJ McHandoff at QB1. I can see the Packers a little worse output than last year and Lions not looking like they have gotten any better so far since last season. Lions got handled in the playoffs. *Commanders handed out a Blueprint to take care of business.

The standings at the end of the '25/'26 season may end up a lot closer than you think.

1. Lions
2a.Packers
2b.Bears
4.Vikes

yeah the lions players are panicking cause the bears win another preseason LOL
Don’t cry. You’ll get to see your boys raise another division title banner for last year.

Take pictures because they won’t be doing it again.

The eagles didn’t face the Lions in the playoffs. The Lions didn’t get that far.

Except yes, they will. It sure as hell won't be the Bears.
