The Lions promoted 31-year-old quarterbacks coach Jim Bob Cooter to offensive coordinator. Cooter will call plays, and he anticipates there will be some scheme changes.

Coach Caldwell said he made the change because the offense just wasn't productive, and that the team is running out of time.

Hey Caldwell, your team blows and at 1-6 the season is over.

Probably the first time in the history of work that a Lombardi was replaced by a Cooter.

An offense that put up 37 on the Bears and their only win. And then some here can't see how bad the Bear Defense really is. Funny stuff right there.

Honestly with the way Oakland crushed San Diego this weekend, I don't think the Bears are as bad as people think, I also don't think the Lions are as bad as people think, they have just been very unlucky. Hell look at the Ravens, they have lost by a touchdown or less in all of their games this season. There are a lot of teams that are right on the cusp of being good competitive teams.
