I could argue that Fields has more upside than any player in the draft, but it's a lost cause when he's not yet able to master and overcome an impossibly ignorant offense with Nagy at the helm, 5th string tackles, and no work with the 1s in preseason. Fields is good, but he is still a rookie going uphill in the snow with this team. Poor guy. He'll come out the other end as a diamond IMO, but this year is a waste if you're going to measure him by wins or QBR.

Except I never once said that about Goff, only that he was better than Dalton (albeit by a slim margin). I am also on record many months ago stating I was more a Stafford fan than a Lions fan, so, there is that. Currently making many (not all) of the Bears fans opinion of him look completely ignorant.

Which is always a problem when you only watch a "clip" and not the whole presser. It totally ignores the fact that earlier he was in fact supportive.

Okay well even if he was supportive, he then openly to the media said Goff needs to do more for the team which is hardly fair to Goff (even though he is awful) with what he has around him.
