I mean are you ****ing kidding me it's literally meat inside the inside of a bread with other various fillings such as katchup and mustard and mayornaisse and vegetables and maybe even some chilly sauce or bacon bits or sour krawt and I have even had a pineapple upon my hot dog sandwitch with also a drizzling of teriyaki sauce and grilled onion and some spam cubes that were fried.

It's literally a sandwich but is just shaped different but if you hold onto the glizzy side-waysed it is a sandwich with the meat between the breads not just on the top!

I always love eating my broccoli cheese sandwiches from Panera.

It literally matches all of the requirements for a sandwich it being a sourdough bread stuffed with cheese and broccoli as well as various other accoutrements, sometimes even bacon, ham, or some other form of smoked meat. It makes for a perfect bread cheese sandwich.

Anyone that argues that a sandwich has two pieces of bread will literally loose any argument with me about my broccoli cheese sandwich from Panera as it literally has two pieces of bread.

I did get a laugh the other day in a Portillo's when they had old signs for different foods as decorations on the wall. They included a hamd and cheese sandwich, a grilled cheese sandwich, and even a "hamburger sandwich". But the sign for the hot dog did not include the word sandwich, so there we have it. This random signage is now the authority.

Have you ever had the broccoli cheese sandwich at Panera?? It is DIVINE! It comes in between two pieces of bread per your requirement for a sandwich and the sourdough that it is served upon is absolutely fantastic. I recommend adding some smoked meats to it if you are a carnivore.
