Living Situation?

What is your living situation like? I spent a semester in dorms before going the apartment route at 19 years old. Jumped from 1 apartment to another 3 years later my fiance and I are finally renting a house.

I definitely love not having people surrounding me on either side/below/above, etc. It's nice. If I want to be loud or stomp around/throw shit, I can. :buttrock:

stayed w/ my parents until freshman year...moved to a dorm...kinda hated dorm life - so moved to a college closer to home and back in w/ my parents...stayed there until I got married and rented a shitty house. Now renting a very nice house for a very reasonable cost...saving up to buy.

I rented until I was 20. I moved in with a friend in Milwaukee that was having trouble for a few months. That's when I bought my first house in Milwaukee. Joined the Army not long after that, after a year bought a condo in Hawaii, then I rented a townhome in Georgia. When I finished my enlistment, I moved back in with my mom for 8 months. I bought a 4/5 bed(depends if you count my office), 3 bath house, and this is where I live. I'm about 9 years away from paying off my mortgage.

6 months after that my mother(his wife of 34 years) passes away in December '08.

so I help my father with everything since my mother passed

As it stinks I cant have my own place.....I have to help my father. My father means everything to me, and since he had his leg removed. Its been really hard

I own a three bedroom, two bathroom split level home in a certain suburb which is south/southwest of Chicago.

For now it is just me. I have asked my gf to move in with me, but she needs to wait until she can sell her condo. Unfortunately, her condo association will not allow rentals of their places - which has been my suggestion.

We are hoping around April/May that she moves in.

Currently living in a 4 bedroom apartment down in Carbondale, IL with a couple of friends. Good times, just a bit expensive. Lived in dorms he 2 years prior, and enjoyed it more than most, just because of easy tail though. lol
