Well the long story would be after turning 18 I lived in the dorms at my first school. I cam back lived with my parents for a year, and then rented an apartment with my brother while going to the school I graduated from (NIU). I rented part of house (lets call it a 1 bedroom efficiency to be nice) during student teaching. During my first gig teaching I rented two different 2 bedroom apartments. First year I lived by myself, the following year I lived with my wife. After I got a job closer to home for both of us, we rented a 3 bedroom farmhouse for a couple years. The house we were rentinhg got sold, and so we rented another 3 bedroom house in the town I currently work in for about 6 months before we bought our current home (2 stories, it was listed as 4 bedrooms but the fourth "bedroom" is a glorified closet we use as an office).
