Great article by Moon Mullin about sack numbers being blamed on the QB rather than the OL.
Side Note: Kind of funny how he shows that there is a correlation between the QB and the number of sacks, but doesn't seem to know why and then just ends the article
Great article by Moon Mullin about sack numbers being blamed on the QB rather than the OL.
Jay Cutler was sacked 2.3 times per game through his 10. Caleb Hanie and Josh McCown in six games went down 26 times, or 4.5 times per game. Did the offensive line just get twice as bad 10 weeks into the season? Probably not.
