Not to concerned about neighbors- I have a conservation district on one side, cornfields across the street and behind me, so the only house nearby is over a berm and on the other side of a pretty thick tree line.
I can kind of see there is a house there now that the leaves are gone... but just barely.
That was the big draw for the place. I hate people, and dont want them near me.

Yeah see i just love people but like you i have woods behind me , wild life refuge across from me and corn fields everywhere else. I dont know where you live but i think your best bet would be to look at auctions. I bought an older john deere with snow blower attachment i been using for a few years now.

I wound up talking the seller in to tossing in his deere- just a little 345, and I did pick up a used snow thrower off of craigslist.
I am just not sure if it will do the job well enough or fast enough.
THe driveway is about 500' and gravel with a hill.

Did it come with tire chains? My driveway is gravel, i dont use tire chains but im not going up a hill. You might want to see if you can find a pair.
