Maximum Overdrive is an all time favorite of mine, belongs in everyone's collection.

Loved that movie. I went out and bought a $500 tricked out bmx bike and thought I was doing those tricks/moves at 10-12 years old..I could barely ride a wheelie..lol

Surprised u knew about midnight madness..no one ever remembers that one..a young Michael J Fox lighting up the silver screen..haha

I don't know if it was mentioned but one of the greatest movies ever made...."Conan the Barbarian" loved that flick!! Think Arnold said 10 words in that entire movie...

Just googled it..he said over 700 words..a lot more than I thought...only 17 lines in Terminator...a lot less in that one..

Stranger Things on Netflix is an homage to
80's Spielberg/Carpenter/Stephen King stuff, it's 8 episodes and it's excellent.

I don't know why this one seems to get forgotten so quickly. It's one of the best sci-fi lite movies ever.

Krull is way better than Dune.

I'm still slightly depressed that the Jodorowsky Dune was never made. Just from a visual standpoint -- as Giger is one of my favorite artists, and designed much of what was supposed to be included -- that film should have been amazing.

The one that got made was pretty solid though. Probably my favorite sci-fi book series.

There was a series made in Britain, I haven't seen it though.
