Hiring Mike McCarthy basically guarantees you're going to have a professional, competent offense every single year. Could be worse.

Right now the rotting corpse of george Halas would do a better job than the last four coaches this dreadful organization has brought in.

But if you have a special QB then you can win much much more with McCarthy and we could have that with Caleb.

Hiring mccarthy pretty much guarantees caleb will be developed properly.

None of these other candidates can provide that, not ben johnson either. Goff was already a good QB

Where are you getting that from?

If it does end up him, we could do worse. He's basically Lovie Smith but for Offense.
His career record is nearly identical to Sean Payton but somehow Payton has faced less scrutiny.
