It isn't for a fairness thing, he apparently isn't going to consider Tram but will consider Quade.

Trammell reportedly will not have an interview for the Cubs manager job but Quade will.

God couldn't win with this team! I don't put it all on Lou. It's not easy trying to make chicken salad out of chicken shit!!!! The 1 thing that irked me with Lou, was batting Lee & Ramirez in the 3 & 4 spot most of the year when neither of them could hit their weight. Quade deserves to inherit this crap. Trammell deserves a better team. I think he may head to Detroit to possibly replace Leyland.

Some of you are shitting on Lou. He did have a less than stellar year, but I think it says alot about his character that he is leaving to be with his ailing mom.

Cool, he has good character. Doesn't mean he can manage a baseball team.

How about hitting Geo, our best hitter 8th? Or playing Koyie Hill over Soto?

We all know who Tram did in Detroit last time...

very sad to see him go, but it was time and the cubs are stupid for making quade the interim, why not trammell.

Trammell has suckes, try a new face. The season is over and it does not matter. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how Quade manages.

Anyone think we have a chance for 100 losses now? Maybe a #1 Draft pick?

We'll get close, but I don't think (and hope) that we hit triple digit losses.

Geo's a career .269 hitter? I'll admit, 8th was a little low, imo, but not extremely far-fetched.

He was batting below .280 only last year.

He was batting below .280 only last year.

05 - 0/1 = .0
06 - 5/25 = .200
07 - 21/54 = .389
08 - 141/494 = .285 (ROY)
09 - 72/331 = .218
10 - 76/264 = .288

You look at that and say there's only one full year he's batted below .280. I look at it and say there's only one season he's had more than 80 hits...

Can't manage a team. He has over 1700 wins last time I checked. That 1700 more tahm Quade.
